I overensstemmelse med Abkhasiens ministerkabinets vedtagelse dateret d. 13. oktober 2023 nr. 106 "Om godkendelsen af proceduren for registrering af udlændinge og statsløse personer ved midlertidige opholdssteder i Republikken Abkhasien," der trådte i kraft d. 1. januar 2024, skal fremmede statsborgere registreres ved midlertidige opholdssteder.
Hvis opholdet foregår ved ejendomme med en gyldig attest for overholdelse af standarderne, sker registreringen ved ankomstdatoen.
Hvis opholdet foregår ved en anden ejendom, skal registreringen ske senest 14 dage fra indrejsedatoen til Republikken Abkhasien.
